A February wedding in Edmonton usually always comes with snow and cold but as I was preparing for Jillian and Kyle’s wedding the weather was from it. So far, Edmonton winter weather felt more like spring time and there was almost no snow to be seen…that was, until the day before the wedding. 😉 A huge snow storm hit the city just before Jillian and Kyle’s big day but they were both so flexible & optimistic that things would work out according to plan and that was so positive to see! As my husband, Kyle and I headed out towards the River Cree Casino to join the family and wedding party for photos, I looked at all the fluffy flakes falling and said “Today, we’re making lemonade!”…and did we ever! We had AMAZING help from all the staff at the hotel and casino and, despite the icy roads and chilly air, everyone was in good spirits and ready to celebrate! Jillian, Kyle and their wedding party were such a treat to work with – they all had a great sense of humor and even braved it outside to get some really memorable photos.
Thanks again to everyone for being so welcoming, flexible and making my job my favorite thing to do! Congratulations, Jillian and Kyle – It was a honor being a part of this day with you. I wish you laughter, love, happiness and all that good stuff that marriage truly brings!
Ps: Feel free to send me some photo love by commenting or sharing this blog! The buttons are at the bottom of the blog post. 🙂 Love of love.....
These guys were a couple of the AWESOME people at the River Cree Casino and Marriott hotel. They let us run around and use their gorgeous space for photos – so gracious and accommodating! Thanks guys! 😉
And now…back to the wedding…
